Course will be entirely Web-based (delivered at a distance), so internet access and a knowledge of computer operation is required. A critical review of literature and current research relating to the use of chemicals in controlling growth, and useful in the production, ripening, and handling of horticultural plants and products. Emphasis is placed on experimental procedures and the interpretation of results, current usage and the potentials for future research.
