Emphasizes the transformational aspects of IT, and how technology can

new organizational designs. The goal of the course is to provide
students an understanding of how IT can be used to achieve competitive

and services. A wide range of topics are covered, such as operations
strategy, process analysis and design, capacity management and
bottlenecks, waiting lines, quality management and six-sigma. Also
covers areas of supply-chain management, including forecasting, JIT and
lean operations, sales and operations planning, and inventory
management.
