Please note that following instructions will only work if you are using
Windows 2000 or Windows XP. You must also have the Hummingbird Host
Explorer application with which you currently use to connect to SIS.
First find the path to your SIS connection using one of the following methods:
- Method 1:

Right-click with your mouse on the icon you normally use to connect to SIS

Left-click with your mouse on properties

Copy to your clipboard the text that appears in "Target".
- Method 2:

Left-click with mouse on "Start" icon (usually in bottom
row, left corner of your PC window)

Move curser to "Programs", which expands to all
programs available

Move curser to "Host Explorer", which again expands

Now move curser to TN3270 and right-click with mouse
to show properties
Move curser to properties and left-click with mouse

Copy to your clipboard the text that appears in "Target"
(this saves you from having to write it down and type it
later by hand in the next step)
Now set up your PC to allow launching SIS from Web

Double-Click 'My Computer'

From the menu click 'Tools' and 'Folder Options'

Click on 'File Types' tab.

In the list select 'N/A URL: TN3270 Protocol'

Click the 'Advanced' button

Click on 'Edit'

Where it says "Application used to perform action",
you need to enter the path for the TN3270 app being
used. Paste the path that you copied earlier in your clipboard.

Click 'OK' when finished
